5 spots to grab a beer after work in Cape Town

Cape Town - Arnold Schwarzenegger once said, "Milk is for babies. When you grow up you have to drink beer."

To celebrate the Cape Town Beer Festival, we thought we'd choose some of our favourite, fairly new - trendy hotspots.

From your favourite fruity pale ale's to deliciously crafted stouts, who can say no to a crisp glass of heaven?

1. Tjing Tjing Bar:

Part rooftop, part attic in the heart of the CBD in a restored two centuries old heritage building. Their specialties include cocktails, a unique wine list, a variety of craft beers and draughts and a tapas menu. Expect new indie and electronica music.

El Burro in Greenpoint has opened a seriously cool bar downstairs that's destined to become a hotspot for locals. Cabrito offers a space where you can go to chill out after work in a relaxed atmosphere, no frills and no fuss.

Basically - think Soho House in Cape Town. And you don't even have to catch a flight to enjoy the space or have a profitable meeting.
