Derick Watts admits they were dicks for the clicks

Cape Town – Local comedy duo Derick Watts & The Sunday Blues on Monday revealed that their controversial #StopTheKnot video was indeed staged.

The whole stunt was merely a planned gimmick to direct traffic to their YouTube channel - and it worked like a charm!

Their #StopTheKnot video, in which the boys acted like dicks and trimmed the locks of "random strangers", received loads of media attention and a whopping 4.8 million clicks!

In a new video named OFFICIAL APOLOGY the guys apologise to the "internet" for being trolled by hipsters.

As an added bonus Nic Smal's moustache gets slapped from his face in a show of goodwill.
