GoPro footage of South African orphanage goes viral

Cape Town – YouTuber, Chris Grava, recently uploaded GoPro footage he took at an orphanage in South Africa.

In one week the video has already had more than 150 000 views.

Chris describes the video as follows: "In the fall of 2012, my brother Nick skipped his flight home from his 2 week trip to Cape Town to stay and work at an orphanage in a local township named Khayelitsha.

"The orphanage is home to 30 children, age 0-18, many of whom lost their parents to HIV/AIDS. Since then, Nick has become the Managing Director of the orphanage, and my family has travelled back to Khayelitsha multiple times to volunteer.

"Together, we have worked to improve the orphanage's operations from an organisation level, and we have just completed the long process to start our own US based nonprofit, Intsikelelo, to help raise money for these kids and their home."
