House of Cards reacts to Emmy loss in the best way possible

Los Angeles – We know Frank Underwood is well-connected but not even his conniving ways could secure an Emmy win for the popular TV drama, House of Cards.

In a short and quirky video released shortly after the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards ended, Frank’s chief of staff Doug Stamper makes a call to the Academy.

Stamper, clearly upset that the Netflix series lost the golden statuette to Breaking Bad, can be seen in the oval office on the phone.

"We lost for best drama series. Get Jim from the Academy on the phone," he says. "Hi Jim, it's Doug Stamper. I thought we had a deal."
