Your heart will melt when you see how these boys react when asked to slap a girl

Cape Town - What happens when you put a boy in front of a girl and ask him to slap her?

In a social experiment, an Italian journalist gathered several boys between the age of 6 and 11, as well as one girl around the same age.  

When introduced to the girl, the journalist asks the young boys a series of commands such as "pull a funny face" and "caress her". They obliged without hesitation.

But when a harsher command was made, for each boy to slap the girl, the boys’ absolute confusion and resistance to this command is incredibly powerful.

The explanations of these young boys range from "because you’re not suppose to hit girls", "because I’m against violence", and our favourite "cause I’m a man".
