London gets a South African influenced treehouse

Los Angels - A 35ft-high treehouse has appeared on London's South Bank.

Virgin Holidays' week-long installation has been influenced by one of their Wonderlist experiences; the Lion Sands Game Reserve treehouse accommodation in South Africa, and is open for anyone to visit between 11:00 and 18:00.

And a lucky few can win the chance to stay overnight in the structure - complete with a six-course private degustation menu from Ultimate Braai Master judge Petrus Madutlela - by registering Virgin Holidays' official website.

The interior has been exclusively designed by renowned interior designer Hubert Zandberg and features a range of tribal prints, a four-post plush bed and several one-off pieces of African sculpture.

The installation will remain open until Friday and will be staffed around the clock.
