WATCH: Monkeys mistake robot for real baby and then something weird happens

Cape Town - A new BBC documentary Spy In The Wild was filmed using only hidden cameras that were disguised as real animals.

Filming of the documentary series was going according to plan until a tribe of langur monkeys mistook the robot spying on them for a real baby.

Trying to look after the "abandoned baby" the tribe accidentally drops it and the fake robot monkey stops working.

What happens next stunned the film crew as the tribe of monkeys start to mourn the death of the spy robot.
