Cape Town – Get ready for more colourful conversations because there are 69 brand new emojis coming soon!
The newest emoji update was announced on Monday and it includes everything from mermaids to dinosaurs to a breastfeeding woman and a woman wearing a headscarf.
According to Emojipedia, Emoji Version 5.0 includes 24 emojis that support five additional skin tone alternatives and "10 new emojis that have a base (non-gendered) emoji which may or may not display with a gender-inclusive appearance."
