South Africans were left shocked when the news of the sudden death of actor Mpho Sebeng broke on Sunday afternoon.

Sebeng lost his life in a tragic car accident in Potchefstroom, in the North West, in the early hours of Sunday, his family confirmed in a statement.

"Whilst the family appreciates the immense outpouring of love and condolences, the family requests some space to process the news," Sebeng family spokesperson Oupa Morake said.
