Joost and Amor: Second audio recording leaked to media

Cape Town - A second audio recording alleged to be a conversation between Amor Vittone and Joost van der Westhuizen, has been leaked to the media.

The leaked recording of a woman hurling insults at an incoherent man was anonymously dropped off on a flashdrive at Netwerk24 offices in Cape Town on Thursday.

A shorter, edited version was first published on Huisgenoot in July.

Huisgenoot enlisted the services of an audio forensic specialist - Dr. Jansen - who could not confirm at the time if the voices in the recording were of Vittone and Van der Westhuizen. (Read the full story here)

According to Netwerk24 a note described the latest leaked conversation as a "recording provided by an anonymous source" and that society needed to "know the truth".

In the recording a woman's voice can be heard - alleged to be Vittone - talking about a family member who attacked her.

"I've got blood all over my fingers, and blood all over my toes," she says.

A man - alleged to be Van der Westhuizen - can be heard mumbling.

According to Huisgenoot, Vittone maintains that the recording has been manipulated to make her look bad. Vittone also told Huisgenoot in a previous interview that she never spoke to him in that way, and treated him with respect.

Amor's lawyer, Sean Hefferman, previously told The Juice: "We have not received the original unedited version of the telephonic conversation and as such we cannot make any statement at this stage, as far the accuracy of the recording is concerned and we need to listen to the full unedited original recording before we can make any specific statement in this regard."
