Who is Rob van Vuuren?

You may think that by acting you're catapulting yourself into the spotlight and making yourself vulnerable to scrutiny, but in reality, actors hide behind their characters and it's the character not the actor that is scrutinized by the audience.

In Rob van Vuuren’s new performance, "Rob van Vuuren is Rob van Vuuren", the Juju Productions founder removes the ‘fourth wall’ and stands bare to the audience, as himself, honest and pure, well, as pure as he can get…

The show explores the journey of van Vuuren’s acting career in what he calls his "one sided conversation". His theatrical performance is creative, energetic, passionate and comical as he dances his way through his history. He explores the comical situations that brought him to where he stands today. It’s a bizarre collection of tales that leaves you giggling and marvelling at his perseverance and dedication throughout it all.

Juju Productions is taking 13 performances to the Grahamstown Festival this year:

-Electric Juju sees van Vuuren in an epic fantasy that is really not to be missed
