1) Matt Bomer (40)

Kids: Henry Halls (10), Kit Halls (13), Walker Halls (10)

"Best date ever! (Sorry Simon!). Thank you @thetonyawards for a perfect night as always and for such a great memory," Hollywood star Matt Bomer captioned an adorable photo of himself and his eldest son, Kit on the Tony Awards red carpet. Shortly before that Matt shared another photo of himself and his son enjoying a pre-award show lunch.

The star, known for his roles in the TV show White Collar and films like Magic Mike and Walking Out, married his publicist husband Simon Halls in 2011 and together they have three beautiful sons. During a profound moment at the Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards in 2012 whilst accepting the New Generation Arts and Activism Award, Bomer for the first time publically addressed his sexuality and spoke about his family.

"I'd really especially like to thank my beautiful family: Simon, Kit, Walker, Henry," he said before adding: "Thank you for teaching me what unconditional love is. You will always be my proudest accomplishment."

Since then the star has openly talked about the joys and challenges of fatherhood, telling PEOPLE in an interview: "It’s the most profound gift and the most daunting challenge at times." He added: "I just want to be hopefully somebody who helps shape these souls without changing how they came into the world. To just give them the structure they need to thrive in the world but at the same time let their own personalities shine through. Some days that’s easier than others." In our books that makes him a top class dad.

2) Russell Wilson (29)

Kids: Future Zahir Wilburn (stepson, 4), Sienna Princess (1)

Before becoming a biological father, American football quarterback Russell Wilson became stepdad to Future Jr, Ciara’s son with ex-fiancé and rapper Future. And according to E! News the bond between the two was instant.

Taking the 4-year-old under his wing, Russell accepted Future Jr as his own and shows just what a proud "Papa Russell" he is in multiple posts on social media. Ciara and Russell expanded their family with the birth of their daughter, Sienna in April last year. Ahead of her birth family was already everything with the sportsman telling The Post Game that fatherhood is "the greatest blessing in the world."

But what shows Russell’s true character as a dad is the care he, and Ciara, give to kids in need. The couple preside over the Why Not You Foundation - which benefits programs that deal with education, children's health and lifting families up out of poverty – and regularly visit Seattle Children's Hospital to lifts the kids’ spirits.

3) Chris Hemsworth (34)

Kids: India Rose (6) and twins Tristan and Sasha (4)

While he may be Thor to majority of the world, to his three kids Chris Hemsworth is just 'dad'.

The Australian actor is one of Hollywood’s A-listers, but is also the biggest family man around and has proven so by keeping his family out of the glitz and glam spotlight with the actor even crediting his kids for helping him step out of the "self-absorbed world" of acting.

In an interview with Modern Luxury magazine in 2016, Chris opened-up about his and wife Elsa Pataky’s decision to move their family from LA back to Australia, saying that moving to a farm setup Down Under was the best move they could have made for their kids.

And when he’s not acting, Chris can be found at home waiting "for my kids to come give me a hug and tell me they love me." His social media posts ever so often show that he is not afraid to look silly with his kids and show them that it’s okay to be silly and have fun. And of course, teaching them things he grew up doing like surfing and the importance of the environment are just a couple of the very many past times he enjoys with his family.

4) Riky Rick (30)

Kids: Maik (4), Jordan (9)

Although Jordan is not his biological daughter, Riky Rick told DRUM magazine in an interview in 2016 that his views on life had changed completely when he met the 9-year-old and her mother Bianca a few years back, mentioning that he had become more "serious" and "purposeful" in the things he had done.

This only continued for the rapper when his son Maik was born in 2014. In 2015 Riky had released his Family Values album, using a picture of himself and Maik as the cover.

If that is not enough proof that family life is very important to the star, he announced in April 2018 that he will be stepping out of the spotlight, and will no longer be doing shows "or anything that involves leaving my children."

5) Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (46)

Kids: Simone Alexandra (16), Jasmine Lia (2), Tiana Gia (2 months)

Dwayne Johnson is one of the most hardworking guys in Hollywood and while he wears many hats his number one job is being a dad to his three daughters.

In a 2015 episode of Oprah's Master Class he said: "I realised being a father is the greatest job I have ever had and the greatest job I will ever have."

Despite always being on the road he is a very hands on dad – from dressing up like Pokémon to enrolling his entire family and staff for a choking and CPR course on infants and children - there is nothing he wouldn't do for his kids.

6) Justin Baldoni (34)

Kids: Maiya Grace (2), Maxwell (7 months)

Justin Baldoni might be well-known for his role in Jane the Virgin but his greatest role is being a dad to his two children. In 2017 an Instagram post where his daughter is having a tantrum went viral for all the right reasons.

He wrote: "My dad taught me so much about what it means to be a man, but this post is about one thing and one thing only. Being comfortable in the uncomfortable. Something I grew up watching him do with me over and over again. There are no perfect parents, but one thing my dad taught me is to not parent based on what anyone else thinks."

His approach to parenting is raising well-rounded children. In an Instagram post he wrote: "We’re doing everything we can to teach our daughter that she is so much more than her appearance. As long as she knows that it’s her heart that makes her appearance beautiful. Moderation is everything."

7) Matt Dallas (35) and Blue Hamilton (38)

Kid: Crow (4)

In an adorable Christmas themed video published on their YouTube channel in 2015 Matt Dallas and husband Blue Hamilton had a special announcement to make. But before they could even utter the words an adorable baby boy announced his very own arrival by crashing their video with an abundance of cuteness. Ever since that moment the celebrity couple has generously allowed fans a glimpse into their lives as new fathers.

In a follow-up video published in 2016 the couple opened up about adopting as a same sex couple. According to Matt he really wanted to go the surrogacy route but soon realised adoption was the right path for them: "I was pretty set on using a surrogate and having my own kid because it was always a dream of mine to be able to have a kid and look into a child’s eyes and see a piece of myself. I was a little bit more hesitant to adopt.

"But the more I spoke to you [Blue] about it … the more I realised that it didn’t matter, and that even if we adopt now, it doesn’t mean that, in the future, I can never have my own [biological] kid."

Blue added; "What I really wanted was a child to raise and love and put into the world — to unleash him to go do good." The couple continue to inspire us with the kind and loving way they are raising their son. Their YouTube channel offers a glimpse into fatherhood that we rarely get to witness and is both ground-breaking and awe-inspiring. Two thumbs up for these two great dads!

8) Janez Vermeiren (40)

Kids: Matisse (13), Vincent (3), Noah (2)

Father of three beautiful boys, TV personality Janez Vermeiren just loves showing off his kids on social media. "I live for my children," he told Move! Magazine in a recent interview. And if you’ve ever paid a visit to his Instagram account, then you'd know this is true.

Whether he’s sharing pics from their quality time at the beach or even just sneaking in a snap of his little ones while they’re asleep, there’s no doubt that Janez is absolutely loving fatherhood. The doting dad manages to find the perfect balance between being on the job and spending time with his kids.

9) Karamo Brown (37)

Kids: Jason (21), Chris (17)

Queer Eye’s Karamo Brown is a top dad because despite his fatherhood journey having lots of highs and lows – with an incredibly rocky start - he managed to raise two sons who love him very much and are proud of him.

Recently the Q.E culture guru - along with his two sons (21-year-old Jason and 17-year-old Chris) - told Parents.com about how they became a family and it wasn’t conventional but what makes their story different isn’t as important as the love that they display. The growth that Karamo and his kids have been very open about is truly special because it proves that fatherhood is a continuous journey that isn’t just about biology and truly changes lives.

10) Ricky Martin (46)

Kids: Matteo (9), Valentino (9)

It’s been 19 years since pop singer Ricky Martin took over the world with his up-tempo hit Livin' La Vida Loca. Since then the hunky and talented star’s life had changed in its own way; he has nine-year-old twin boys named Matteo and Valentino Martin.

Ricky raises the beautiful boys with his husband 34-year-old Jwan Yosef and the pair are top dads because they have not only blazed their own path but have done so, so that others can follow through the societal barriers they have broken down. As Ricky said himself in an interview with Architectural Digest: "We’re a modern family, and I think people need to see, and I want to normalise the beauty of our family…"
