I've lost my respect for Lance Witten

Lance Witten
The question is, if the person who was killed was his sister or personal friend, would he consider it a "joke"?

Furthermore, if a comedian (like Trevor Noah) was to include such a vile joke in his stand up act, and Lance Witten was in the audience, would he find it funny if it was someone he knew?

His comment was in bad taste and the fact he thought he was being funny shows a serious flaw in his character.

Also, as a person who is in the public eye, he should be aware of the consequences of his words and be more responsible about what he says.

Finally, if he had just accepted his mistake and apologised from the start, perhaps it wouldn't be so bad, but to go on to attempt to justify his sick sense of humour was what really made it bad.

I'm glad he finally accepted that he was wrong, however I am not convinced that it was heartfelt and more likely just a result of the backlash he realised he was getting.

Lost all respect for him I'm afraid!
