Lady Gaga: The white fox shock

Nicole Hattingh says:

With regards to my opinion of this "artist" - I’ve never been a massive fan of hers but in the same breath I didn't really mind her one bit.

Then I found out she is a HUGE fan of fur which immediately turned me against and put me off ANYTHING to do with her. She wears fur with such immense pride and displays arrogance towards people who are questioning it.

I bought the Heat magazine a couple weeks ago, and there's a picture of her WEARING a complete Arctic white fox. Its little face draped over her shoulder and its tail hanging down her torso. It makes me so sad. Maybe if she was held down and electrocuted to death for her skin she would change her opinions….

I just don’t find it acceptable, especially in this day and age, to wear fur, with so many other beautiful materials and designers to get creative with.

I hope she is greeted with riots and protests in South Africa.

Silke Kaiser says:

I would definitely prefer it if she didn't come to this country.

South Africa is trying it's best to fight Rhino poaching which is a huge epidemic in this country and yet we’re happy to have a woman like Lady Gaga who blatantly wears fur and doesn’t understand the plight animals on this planet are facing come and visit our beautiful country?

On one occasion she was photographed wearing a whole white wolf pelt which happens to be on the extinction list as well.

She doesn’t deserve to be here, personally I think she takes her "shock value" to a rather disgusting level.  I for one have stopped supporting her as an artist and have no desire to waste my money on someone who has absolutely no regard for the voiceless on this planet.
