We all have our own opinions on music

2013-09-17 13:28
I have always been a big fan of Nickelback. And I have never had anything bad to say about their music and the performance they deliver. I CAN'T see what some of these people have to say about them in any bad way.

I believe it counts for every other band out there, not everybody appreciates their music and would simply just not be interested to see them live OR listen to them on radio stations etc. We all have our own opinions on music we like and bands we follow. To start up a group to only criticise those you have no appreciation for is idiotic and childish!

In my opinion, give them the stage.... The rest of us who will be supporting them will be the ones to judge and give an opinion to their performance. And I am sure that this won’t be a disappointing event, but rather one to remember and hopefully have them back in SA.

We live in a fantastic country with many different types of culture and beliefs around our daily lives. Yet I can’t see how or why this should have a negative effect to our country by not wanting to welcome all international entertainment. It can only bring joy to us and put us on the map as a country who loves live performances and welcome all with open arms.

We have had huge artists in our country before, with great responses from the public. Let it not be taken away by some selfish and uncultured comments from others!
