WIN: Is your dad a real trooper?! He could win a Star Wars hamper!

accreditation

Cape Town - Father’s Day is a special day of the year to celebrate dads – and they come in all shapes and sizes!

Big or small, tall or short, bringing balance to the force or on a mission to quell the rebellion across the galactic empire, every dad is unique. Among the most unique and famous dads in film history is none other than Darth Vader.

The year was 1980 and in one of the most iconic scenes ever portrayed on the big screen, cinema-goers (and every new Star Wars fan since) let out a collective gasp as the villainous Vader revealed Luke Skywalker’s parentage in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, by uttering the line: "No, I am your father."

WIN:

So this Father’s Day, we are celebrating the famous line from this pivotal scene in true Star Wars style by giving away 10 hampers filled with Star Wars goodies (Star Wars T-shirt, Star Wars travel mug, Star Wars key ring, Star Wars cap and Star Wars wet bag).

HOW TO ENTER:

To stand a chance of winning simply share a pic of your dad on Twitter and tell us why he is a real trooper! Remember to tag @Channel24 in your tweet and also add the hashtag #IamYourFathersDaySA.

DETAILS:

Only 1 entry per person. Make sure you follow @Channel24 on Twitter as the winners will be contacted via DM. The prizes as they appear in the images might differ from the actual prizes the winners receive. The competition closes on Sunday, 21 June at 17:00.
