Cape Town – The annual Wavescape Surf & Ocean Festival is currently underway in Cape Town. (Read more about the festival here)

One of the highlights on the Wavescape calendar is undoubtedly Slide Night.

The event is an evening of 10 minute talks by 10 thought-leaders intimately connected to the ocean.

They include artists, craftsmen, athletes, activists, scientists and personalities who will share their inspiring ideas and adventures in an informal, fun gathering.

Slide Night takes place on Monday, 4 December at the Centre for the Book in Cape Town. The event kicks off at 19:00 and tickets cost R150. (Buy tickets here)
