Miley's shocking transformation in 10 photos

2013-08-27 11:27
Cape Town - Her recent MTV Video Music Awards performance has everyone concerned over the once innocent Disney star.

These days Miley Cyrus can't keep her tongue in her mouth or her booty from twerking.

Here's 10 photos that perfectly capture Miley's transformation:

1) Remeber 2006? When Brandon Routh still played the role of Superman, the word "gaga" still meant "to be overexcited or irrational" and Miley Cyrus was just a random kid with a split personality on a Disney show.

2) Then came 2007 and she tried on her first pair of stripper heels. And we were all like: "No, Miley!"

3) Don't panic! In 2008 she decided to ditch the hectic heels and go for something more innocent and cute. And we were like: "That's a little short but we will let it go."

4) LOL! Still in 2008. Remember when she tried to be trendy and stuff with a hat and stuff? She even did the whole two-belts-over-a-super-long-shirt vibe. And we were like: "That's just a phase silly Miley."

5) Wowza! Smiley Miley! In 2009 she went all angelic on us. And we were just so happy and proud.

6) Remember in 2010 when we were all shocked, just shocked by her risky and raunchy stage outfits? Those were the good old days.

7) Oh, thank goodness. In 2011 it seemed like she had composed herself and we thought: "Phew, we almost lost you there Miles."

8) And in 2012 when we were shocked after she cut her locks and we were like: "Girl, you cutting your hair and stuff? Showing us some flesh. That's next level."

9) But then in 2013 she morphed into a tongue twisting super sleazy Rugrats doll and we were all like: "WTF?!!"

10) But seriously we were like: "WTF?!!"

And then we all sort of missed the "normal acting" Amanda Bynes.
