Los Angeles – This is basically the best time of the year for movie freaks like us.
We just had the People’s Choice Awards, followed closely by the Golden Globes, next up is the SAG Awards and then the Baftas.
Of course our movie fever reaches orgasmic proportions in March when the big kahuna, the mother of all award shows, the cherry on the top, the crowning moment, the Pièce de résistance will fill our hearts with toe-curling pleasure.
We will be stuck to our screens on Sunday 2 March to watch the 86th Academy Awards magic unfold.
On Thursday the Oscar nominees for 2014 were announced. You can see a full list here. Sadly some really great performances went unnoticed and weren’t nominated.
Here they are. The 10 shocking Oscar snubs this year:
1) Robert Redford in All is Lost.
2) James Gandolfini in Enough Said.
3) Scarlett Johansson in Her.
