Jennifer Aniston stole a movie and Lorde is actually 45 years old - Here are 10 of the most bizarre celeb conspiracy theories we found on the web!

Cape Town – Do you believe in conspiracy theories?

Defined as "a theory that explains an event or set of circumstances as the result of a secret plot by usually powerful conspirators" or as "the belief that a secret group would perform an extremely complicated operation that's of no benefit to anyone and somehow keep it all secret" - Celebville is breeding ground for it!

Whether it's Beyoncé faking pregnancies or Nicolas Cage being a vampire IRL - Hollywood is home to some of the most bizarre conspiracy theories out there and we simply had to find out more.

WE TAKE A LOOK AT 10 BIZARRE CONSPIRACY THEORIES:

1. Beyoncé faked her pregnancy

She's an award-winning musician and has a successful career praised by fans called the Beyhive, but even Beyoncé couldn't escape a good old conspiracy theory.

Of all the theories people have come up with, the most prominent is that she faked her first pregnancy with now 7-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, in 2011.

Shortly after Bey announced her pregnancy at the VMAs of that year, fans began speculating pointing out every tiny detail pertaining to the pregnancy, including a TV appearance on Australian show Sunday Night when Bey's belly mysteriously "deflated" as she sat down, Daily Mail reported.

2. Katy Perry is actually JonBenet Ramsey

In 2016 rumours that Katy Perry looked strikingly similar to what the adult version of child beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey, who was brutally murdered in 1996, would've looked like.

According to Teen Vogue a YouTube video, which has since been deleted, pointed out similarities between Katy and the young girl and claimed that JonBenet Ramsey didn’t die but was instead "sacrificed" for fame, and therefore she became Katy Hudson, who then changed her name to Katy Perry.

The Roar singer later denied the theory in a pre-recording that was aired at the MTV VMAs in 2017.

3. Jennifer Aniston and Vin Diesel stole movies

Perhaps the most bizarre theory ever, Vin Diesel and Jennifer Aniston were believed to have to "burglarised" a movie company.

According to a mysterious e-mail, obtained by AV News, Jen and Vin allegedly stole "the 2nd G.I.Joe movie" because the Friends actress was jealous that the sender of the mail dumped her for Sienna Miller.

4. The Beatles never existed

Believe it or not, there is an entire website devoted to proving that perhaps one of the most iconic bands in history did not exist.

The landing page of this website simply reads: "This research began in 2011, and we came to the conclusion that the musical group known to us as The Beatles was composed of multiples. How and in what way they were such isn't entirely known, but we have been able to see it wasn't actors with cosmetic surgery, or human doubles of any kind."

While the theory may be old, it will very likely flare up again when the new film Yesterday releases. The film follows a struggling singer-songwriter in a tiny English seaside town whose dreams of fame are rapidly fading. Then, after a freak bus accident during a mysterious global blackout, Jack wakes up to discover that The Beatles never really existed.

5. Kurt Cobain was murdered

Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain was found dead in an apartment on 5 April 1994. It was later determined that the singer died by suicide, however many still believe he was murdered.

In 2018 a Seattle court ruled that photographs from the scene of his death remain sealed from the public, The Guardian reported, after conspiracy theorist Richard Lee had sued the city over the release of the images, believing them to support his long-held view that Cobain was killed by government officials.

6. Tupac is still alive

Tupac Shakur was killed in a fatal drive-by shooting in Las Vega on 7 September 1996. The rapper – sometimes referred to being the greatest rapper of all time – was shot 6 times, he died less than a week later at the age of 25.

Years later, many still believe he is still alive and faked his death to get out of the spotlight. Capital Xtra has even shared a feature that allegedly shows photos of Tupac appearing in music videos after his death.

7. Avril Lavigne died and was replaced by a doppelganger

One of the most viral conspiracy theories that not even Avril could ignore herself was that the Sk8er Boi hitmaker died following her grandfather's death in 2003 and was replaced by a doppelganger named Melissa Vandella.

According to E! News, Avril responded to the viral theory during an interview with Australia's KISS 1065. She said: "Yeah, some people think that I'm not the real me, which is so weird! Like, why would they even think that?"

8. Nicolas Cage is a vampire IRL

Nevermind the fact that he acted as a vampire in the 1988 movie, Vampire's Kiss, Nicolas Cage was believed to be a vampire in real life after a Civil War-era photograph of a man from Bristol, Tennessee bearing an eerie resemblance to the Oscar winner surfaced on ebay in 2011.

The person who was trying to sell the photograph for $1m told E! News at the time: "Personally, I believe it's him and that he is some sort of walking undead vampire, et cetera, who quickens/reinvents himself once every 75 years or so. 150 years from now, he might be a politician, the leader of a cult or a talk show host."

9. Khloé Kardashian is O.J. Simpson's daughter

Rumours that O.J. Simpson impregnated Kris Jenner behind Robert Kardashian's – who was OJ's defense attorney in his 1995 murder trial - back, thus making Khloé Kardashian his daughter, have circulated for years.

Shortly after his release from prison however, O.J. denied the rumours when asked if congratulations for Khloé's pregnancy are in order by TMZ. "Well, for Bob, God bless his soul, yeah. I don't know for me. I don't think for me I have nothing to do with it."

10. Lorde is actually 45 years old

While celebrities lying about their age comes as no surprise, one celeb who has never done this is surprisingly believed to be older than her birth certificate states she is.

While the theory was birthed due to Lorde's wisdom beyond her years, it grew even more after she joked about it to Vanity Fair, saying: " Hi, I’m Ella and I’m actually 45."

An investigation, published by The Loop, delves into clues as to why Lorde is older than she actually is and lists things including her lyrics, her wardrobe and that she has trouble taking selfies.

Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor was however born on 7 November 1996 and is currently 22 years old.
