4 reasons Chris Evans deserves an Oscar for his appearance at the Academy Awards

Cape Town – Chris Evans was our favourite crush the Oscars 2019.

Captain America walked the red carpet wearing a light blue velvet dinner jacket that matched his crystal-blue eyes at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

HERE ARE 4 REASONS CHRIS DESERVES AN OSCAR FOR ATTENDING THE ACADEMY AWARDS:

1. A cute date

Chris took his 35-year-old brother, Scott to the Oscars as his date and we have to admit they make a cute pair of siblings.

2. A true gentleman

Chris once again proved that chivalry isn’t dead when he helped Regina King take the stage for her Best Supporting Actress win.

This isn’t the first time he has showed off what a gentleman he is – he previously helped Betty White onto stage after she won Favourite TV Icon at the 2015 People’s Choice Awards.

3. A genuine laugh

Awkwafina and John Mulaney delivered two awards - Best Animated Short and Best Documentary Short – but it was their hilarious chemistry that stole the show, leaving the crowd stitches including Chris.

4. A subtle fist pump

Chris attended the Oscars to present the award for Best Production Design alongside Jennifer Lopez.

While the actor let his co-presenter announce Hannah Beachler of Black Panther as the winner, he couldn’t help but celebrate the win with a subtle but noticeable fist pump a second before it was announced.
