Cape Town – In light of their #ForGirlsByGirls theme, Teen Vogue got Cindy Crawford to interview her up and coming model daughter Kaia Gerber for their September issue.
The model mom/daughter duo talk about modelling on and off camera and compare their experiences in the industry.
Here are 4 things we learnt when Cindy Crawford interviewed her daughter:
1. Cindy Crawford’s hand-me-downs would probably make up every girls dream wardrobe.
2. Cindy Crawford only started modelling when she was 17. 14-year-old Kaia has posed for Versace, Vogue Italia and Teen Vogue.
3. Cindy’s top tip for her model daughter is to “have a thought behind every pose. That way, when you look at the photos afterwards, it feels deeper than just staring at a blank face.”
4. Kaia is not only the spitting image of her mom, they share mannerisms too! Like when they watch past videos of themselves, they have the same reactions.
