Los Angeles - Anne Hathaway has married Adam Shulman.
The Dark Knight Rises actress tied the knot with Adam - who she became engaged to in November 2011 - at a small ceremony in Big Sur, California, on Saturday.
Around 100 guests attended the nuptials, which began on Friday night with a rehearsal dinner at the Ventana Inn and Spa ahead of the wedding at a nearby private estate.
Anne wore a gown designed by Valentino, and the décor at the celebration was inspired by nature, a source told People.com
'Fell in love like a fool'
Speaking previously, Anne said she was looking forward to being single until she met Adam and "fell in love like a fool".
She said: "I am very much in love with him, only Adam totally ruined my plan. I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time, and then I fell in love like a fool!"
Earlier this year Anne said she wanted to hold off having her wedding until 2013 as she had too much work to do.
She said: "We're getting married, probably sometime next year-ish. Not this year, its too big with two films coming out.
"I haven't started planning yet. I was filming Les Mis when we decided to do it, and there was no way I could think about anything wedding-related with my head in the space it was in then. I've been so busy since then, I've not even decided what sort of ceremony I want."
