Armed police called to Miley Cyrus' home

Los Angeles - Armed police were called to Miley Cyrus' home after an intruder was reported.

Los Angeles police received a call on Wednesday which claimed Miley's home had been broken in to but when officers arrived at the scene, they discovered it was empty, according to gossip website TMZ.

Officers now believe the call was a prank and have described the perpetrator as a "911 abuser".

Miley, 19, wasn't in the house as she is currently visiting her fiance Liam Hemsworth on the set of his latest movie Paranoia in Philadelphia.

While Miley and 22-year-old Liam's engagement surprised fans given their youth, it was recently revealed the couple want a huge family.

A source said: "She really wants a bunch of kids, since she has a a lot of brothers and sisters. She wants the same thing for when she becomes a mother. She wants the kids to be all hers, and it might be a little while after marriage for her to start because she really loves her body and wants to spend some time being the 'Hot Wife.'"
