Beyoncé splashes on Nando's feast

Los Angeles - Beyoncé spent £740 (about R10 500) on a chicken feast.

The singer spared no expense to treat her entourage to a poultry party following her sold out Mrs. Carter Show concert at The O2 in Dublin, Ireland, splashing out the sum on 28 whole chickens, 70 spicy wings and plenty of sides from peri-peri chicken restaurant chain Nando's.

The 31-year-old star clearly had a healthy appetite after working up a sweat on stage as she placed the astounding £740 order on Sunday night at around 10.30pm, according to details found on a receipt posted by the restaurant chain on its Twitter account.

Nando's, which specialises in Portuguese-style spicy flame-grilled chicken, posted a snap of the expensive bill, which includes over two dozen whole chickens and seven orders of the restaurant's signature Wing Roulette - a portion of 10 chicken wings ranging in spiciness from mild to an eye-watering extra hot.

'A variety of sides'

The Love on Top songstress - who is rumoured to be expecting her second child - additionally ordered a variety of sides to tickle any potential pregnancy cravings, opting for several large helpings of chips, spicy rice, garlic bread, coleslaw and 28 pieces of corn on the cob.

While Beyoncé enjoyed a Nando's feast while in the UK, back in the US, the singer is known for her love of fried chicken chain Popeyes.

Free chicken for life

The restaurant even provided her a card entitling her to free meals for life, and it's rumoured guests enjoyed fried treats from Popeyes at her 2008 wedding to Jay-Z.

Beyoncé isn't the only one being catered to on her world tour, however, as her 16-month-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter has also reportedly been receiving A-list pampering from a team of eight nannies, her own stylist, an organic baby chef, a personal paediatrician and a baby massage therapist.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Beyoncé is making loads of cash from this tour, so why not go for the best? Blue Ivy gets all these perks at home so why shouldn't they be available on her travels?"
