2015-04-25 05:40

Los Angeles - During her exclusive interview with Diane Sawyer on Friday night, Bruce Jenner revealed that she is in fact female.

“My brain is much more female than it is male," Bruce told Diane.

According to BuzzFeed Diane asked Bruce if she is a woman. To which Bruce answered; "Yes. For all intensive (sic) purposes, I am a woman."

During the two hour interview Bruce revealed that there would indeed be an eight episode docu-series about her transition which will premiere on E! on 26 July.

The interview was not aired in South Africa but could be followed on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.

On social networking sites, viewers called the interview riveting, if not necessarily surprising, and called Jenner brave, CNN reported.

"I'm not this bad person. I'm just doing what I have to do,"Bruce told Sawyer.

Here's a preview from the interview:

In the emotional interview Bruce revealed the following five things:

She is not yet ready to reveal her name as she fears media scrutiny.

Kim Kardashian was the first to know of Bruce's gender issues after she caught him in a dress. According to Bruce Kanye was instrumental in helping Kim understand Bruce's transition from male to female, E! News reported.

Khloe had the toughest time getting used to the news of Bruce's transition. After the interview aired Khloe took to Twitter and said; "Just finished watching the #BruceJennerInterview with the family. Bruzer, I'm soooo proud of you! Dads really are heros. (sic)"

For the moment Bruce is asexual and not dating anyone.

Bruce is considering full gender-reassignment surgery. She told Sawyer; "If you're living your life female, OK, as Khloe would say, you gotta have a va-jay-jay"
