Johannesburg - House DJ turned upcoming soccer player, DJ Cleo, is said to have abandoned his father after his parents got divorced, reports The Daily Sun.

Samuel Monyepao, 64, revealed to The Daily Sun that his famous son will not even call or visit the old man who has had to have his leg amputated due to diabetes.

Cleo's father added that he is deeply saddened by the fact that even though his son, a self proclaimed millionaire, is enjoying a lot of success in his life he has not helped him in any way financially.

DJ Cleo has not publicly responded to any of these allegations and he has also not been active on social media.

According to DJ Cleo’s Facebook page he has been "the most upfront, significant, and influential dance music producer in South Africa for the last six years at least, having repeatedly proven himself with House, Kwaito and Hip-hop productions for such prodigies as Brickz, Pitch Black Afro, Mzekezeke, Brown Dash, Mandoza, Kabelo and Skwatta Kamp, as well as having done some work on the Tsotsi soundtrack."

He also has plans in the pipeline for a television production, an event business and a visual biography.

Kickoff reported in March that the Award-winning music producer is busy training with Bidvest Wits reserves and has hopes of becoming a professional soccer player.
