Los Angeles - Freddie Prinze Jr has undergone spinal surgery and is "learning to walk again".

The Scooby-Doo star had the operation on November 20 to correct some "disc issues" and his rehabilitation is going well.

Freddie - who is married to Sarah Michelle Gellar - has been posting updates on his condition to his fans on his Twitter page and although he still has to wear a neck brace he is up on his feet.

Revealing what his operation was for he tweeted...

Freddie has been diligently following his rehabilitation programme to ensure a speedy recovery.

Freddie is back on his feet and has been seen out walking in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles with his wife Sarah and their children, Charlotte, five, and Rocky, two.

During his down time, he has been playing video games and watching sports on TV.
