George Michael slams Christian group

2012-01-04 12:09
Los Angeles - George Michael has blasted a US Christian group who prayed for him to die.

The openly homosexual singer - who battled life threatening pneumonia at the AKH hospital in Vienna, Austria, last year - took to his Twitter account after "a few glasses of vino" to lash out at the "cocksucking bastards" from Christians For A Moral America who claimed he could be ill with AIDS rather than pneumonia and said he deserved to die because of his sexuality.

He wrote: "did you know that while I was fighting for my life in Austria there were a bunch of those lovely American 'Christian' organisations, who call themselves "Christians for a Moral America" who were actually taking the time to pray for me to die

"How very sweet of them, considering how busy they must be on the whole.

"Now don't get me wrong, I know for a fact that many devout Christians, such as the ones I work rest and play with on a daily basis, are truly wonderful, kind hearted men and women who take the best parts of that religion and live admirable, generous and loving lives.

"But In my opinion, and I think made evident by those who prayed for my death, there are others who use their twisted interpretations of ancient scriptures as a pathetic excuse to be.......wait for it, wait for it.......!

"Totally fucked up cocksucking bastards.

"And not in a good way.......! (sic)."

Good spirits

However, George Michael is clearly in good spirits as he joked his rant meant he was recovering.

He wrote: "Oh my GOD that felt good. I must be getting BETTER !

"Ok, I admit it, I've downed a couple of glasses of is GREAT !

"I'd better go for dinner before I get in any more trouble. Love to you all, may 2012 be the BEST year we've known, not the last, after all x (sic)."

Funny how George michael who obviously does suck cork uses it as an insult against other people. He is kind of insulting himself at the same time.

Me thinks he was actually trying to be funny...that's how I interpreted it!

      gayspeak - 2012-01-04 14:01

And you are insulting yourself with your use of language.

Fragrant, beautiful woman's rose over ass-crack any day.

      Squeegee - 2012-01-04 19:48

And he obviously has the moral high ground - from his office in a park toilet.

      Hell yes!

You know, in this case I don't really care what George does in his spare time. I am rather inclined to agree with him about that group of Christians for Moral Rights praying for him to die. That is fundamentally as un-Christian as what it could be. Being a Christian, I don't condone either and the one is as bad as the other. But, hey, lets not start throwing stones. MMMM?

How is two consenting, adult men doing private things privately as bad as praying for a total stranger to die?!

  • George - 2012-01-04 14:33

You have just acquired your passport to hell. No Visa required. !!

      Johncarlos Cynical Biza - 2012-01-04 16:19

So have you, for judging others.

Let us for a moment assume there is such a place as heaven. Nobody knows what it is like but we do know who is going to be there. Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, George Bush, Benny Hinn, hundreds of popes and Jeffrey Dahmer (who saved himself before his execution). Would you want to spend eternity with that bunch? No sirree! Not me. So lets see if the companions who we will meet in hell are likely to be more congenial. George Carlin, Albert Einstein, Christopher Hitchens, Mahatma Gandhi, Winston Churchill, Nelson Mandela, you name it all the interesting people are in hell. And where do the bad girls go, heh? I am destined for hell. What I would be interested to know is this. If I continue to mock God will he smite me now and send me to hell or will he wait until I die of old age. You are obviously an expert on these things. Let me know.

George Michael is obviously soooooo scared because the American Jesus suckers are making intercessory prayers. And while these brain addled creepy idiots are begging the imaginary sky daddy to so some more killing there are millions of starving children around the World. Nice moral god fearing members of the community - pah!

  • emile.eley - 2012-01-04 16:30

Ah shut it George. If only you went on your knees to pray. Nudge, nudge.

  • Duwen.lecram - 2012-01-04 17:40

That's why I have decided long ago, not to care what so called Christians think. They often don't practice what they preach. Gay people will always exist, they have been with us since before Jesus Christ was born. So if you don't like it too bad, we are going to be here till kingdom come.

Gayspeak, you are so deeply sucked up in the sewage and have been for so long that it smells like roses to you. I can remember an article in which Nichael opened his heart to a journalist in a park, and what he said boiled down to him feeling as if he was in hell. Gayness has nothing to do with this; substances does.
