Cape Town - Idols 7 winner Dave van Vuuren has finally popped the question.
The following update was posted on the Idols Twitter page on Wednesday: "Congrats to @DaveFromFire for getting engaged to Jess yesterday! All the best from everyone at #IdolsSA."
At the press conference following Dave's win on October 4, he revealed that now that the competition was over, he could focus on his proposal. He said: "She's the love of my life. I'm going to propose next week."
21-year-old Dave and Jess Nolan have been dating for three years.
He also mentioned that since he had won R500 000 as part of the Idols winner's prize, he might consider having the wedding this year.
