Jaden Smith dons dress to Amandla Stenberg's prom

Los Angeles - Jaden Smith wore a dress to take Amandla Stenberg to her prom.

The 16-year-old son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith - who has previously been linked to Kylie Jenner - ditched the traditional tuxedo for a black and white dress with a black suit jacket to attend the 16-year-old actress' party to celebrate graduating from high school.

In a picture that Amandla - who is famous for playing Rue in The Hunger Games - posted on Twitter, she's seen with her hair in long braids wearing a long metallic dress to match Jaden.

This isn't the first time that Jaden has experimented with female clothing. The Karate Kid 2 star was seen wearing a dress in April, when he was out in Calabasas, California, and also posted an Instagram picture at the time.

He wrote: ''Went To TopShop To Buy Some Girl Clothes, I Mean 'Clothes.'''

Jaden has also said in the past that he doesn't care what people think about the way he dresses, as long as he's ''having fun''.

He previously said: ''All black is pretty much my go-to look. If somebody is just wearing something for the blogs, that's really sad because they're not living for themselves, versus someone wearing a kimono who's having an awesome time.

''I really look to see, do you care more about what other people think, or are you having fun?''
