Cape Town - Janez Vermeiren and his fiancée, Juliana Vasconcelos, have ended their engagement, reports YOU magazine.
The Top Billing presenter and the Brazilian model were engaged for almost a year after he proposed to her on Christmas day last year. They were due to tie the knot next year.
Juliana confirmed to YOU that they broke off their engagement about two months ago.
"The time was just not right. We both agreed to end the engagement because we travel a lot for work," she told the magazine.
Juliana has since moved out of their home in Camps Bay and states that they are still friends, but won't be rekindling their romance.
Janez, who is currently in London, declined to speak out about the matter, saying that Juliana would answer all questions.
"Whatever her explanation is I'm happy with it," he told YOU.
