Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez back together

Los Angeles - Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are back together.

The on-again/off-again couple - who split two weeks ago because the 20-year-old actress felt she couldn't trust the Canadian singer - were spotted hand in hand together at the star-studded party for the American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The Love You Like A Love Song singer was snapped holding on to her 18-year-old boyfriend's arm and chatting to his mother Pattie Mallette, who was his original date, at the bash.

Selena did not attend the 40th annual awards ceremony, where Justin performed, but helped him celebrate at the Marriott Downtown Hotel after he won three prestigious awards including Artist of the Year, Favourite Male Artist Pop/Rock and Favourite Album.

A tumultuous time

The couple were also photographed leaving the party together later in the night.

Their high profile date comes just two days after Selena stormed out of a restaurant 10 minutes after sitting down with Justin because they had a huge argument.

She drove home alone but the Boyfriend singer followed her and she refused to let him enter her property.

However, his white Ferrari was spotted at her house the next morning suggesting they made up overnight.

The duo - who have been dating for almost two years - have had a tumultuous time recently because of trust issues and reports he spent time with Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin in New York.
