KIIS FM in big trouble over those naked Jennifer Lawrence pics!

Syndey – Syndey radio station KIIS FM might face legal action for publishing leaked nude pictures of Jennifer Lawrence.

The station posted four pixelated nude pictures of the actress on Monday but later took if down and replaced them with red carpet pictures.

Mark Pearson, media law expert at Griffith University told the Syndey Morning Herald that any media publication that posted the pictures could face a lawsuit for breach of privacy or confidence.

While Pearson said it would be unlikely for the actress to take legal action in another jurisdiction it is not unheard of.

Nude pictures of Jennifer Lawrence in various states of undress were posted on the bulletin board website 4chan by an anonymous user.

Although the story drew a lot of interest on social media, news websites did not publish the leaked nude pictures.

Perez Hilton posted the pictures on his website but later removed it and issued an apology.

Syndey Morning Herald reported that an ARN spokesperson said that the images were only up for 25 minutes and were removed after they discovered the pictures were obtained illegally.

This is not the first time the radio station has landed in hot water. KIIS FM made headlines last year after a royal prank call they aired led to controversy.

On Monday the FBI announced that they would start an investigation into the celeb nude scandal. The alleged hacker has since gone on the run.
