Kate Middleton apologises to William

2012-10-01 12:23
London - Duchess Catherine is said to be begging Prince William for forgiveness.

The mortified Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly terrified she has ruined her reputation and embarrassed her husband after she was completely exposed in a new series of intimate photos.

A source told OK! Magazine: "Kate is mortified. Since she and William met, she's constantly been on guard against embarrassment. When they used to go away with William's friends, Kate would lecture everyone on what not to do in case there were photographers."

The 30-year-old future queen is devastated at the thought of upsetting him and the rest of the royal family and can't stop apologising since the photos of her sunbathing topless hit newsstands earlier this month.

But there could be some good news for Kate as a Danish magazine has denied publishing "bottomless" pictures of the Duchess in recent days.

Celebrity gossip magazine Se Og Hor reportedly printed a 16-page special of candid shots of her on holiday in the south of France with her husband, in three of which she is seen taking off her bikini bottoms.

The new images appeared to be part of the same set as the topless photographs published in French magazine Closer, before Italy's Chi newspaper and the Irish Daily Star went to press with them.

But the magazine denied claims it had published the images on Saturday, despite images appearing online.

The royal - formerly known as Kate Middleton - recently won a landmark injunction to stop further publication of the topless images by Closer magazine in France, under the threat of a €100 000 fine each day.

Despite the court ruling a "brutal" invasion of privacy and the heavy sanctions, the injunction has not deterred media interest in the pictures and the photos have now made their way online.

Chill out girl, most of us don't care and will certainly do no harm to your popularity. Besides, you don't look like the back of a bus and your husband while publically outraged is probably privately grinning to himself in union with the rest of the male species.

      ohattingh - 2012-10-01 14:58

racist... go read sunday sun or something

      jacowium - 2012-10-01 20:40

Southern Africa has its fair share of tribal kings and royal families too, if you haven't noticed, Masupa.

      sandra.j.rennie - 2012-10-01 23:24

masupa. The difference is that the supposed Royal families here in South Africa walk around half naked all the time. And really I don't think there are any photographers waiting around to take pictures of them. The KZN Royal comes to mind and he is definitely not worth looking at !

      blip.noodlum - 2012-10-02 06:23

The African "royals" are really only chiefs. They're not proper royals.

      ann.fischadler - 2012-10-03 19:10

blip.noodlum.....what is a proper royal....the ones I know all came to power by force in this world...so stuff them....the only people I will listen to or respect is democratically elected people...

  • julie.khan3 - 2012-10-01 14:26

Kate dont need to apologise!!These photographers are just after money... She was in complete privacy..so she thought1!! No fault of yours at all!!

      sandra.j.rennie - 2012-10-01 23:26

Hi Julie At least Kate has a terrific figure and I would not apologise to anyone for showing off those assets. regards Sandra

  • jess.wags.5 - 2012-10-01 14:45

Whats wrong with showing a bit of flesh now and then?

  • christopher.m.lowe - 2012-10-01 16:45

Has Kate got a death wish? How can she be so bloody stupid? We all KNOW that photographers can get pictures from 57 million kilometers away. So why this urge to take off her top and now her bikini? Keep it on for god's sake woman!!! It's not rocket science.

      rose.mcmillan - 2012-10-03 12:19

If she in in the privacy of a chalet and not on the local beach, why should she not take off her top or bottom for that matter, I do wish the gossip mongers and news paper photographers would leave her alone, they hunted down Diana, that's why she was killed in an accident.

  • rene.mcevoy.7 - 2012-10-01 17:27

I think the phtotographer should be charged for being a stalker. Really it is clear that there was some tresspassing to get to the spot to take the photos. This person had to sit there and wait for something to happen, so it was not a case of walking past and oops I am in luck for a nice picture!

  • bakers.dozen.14 - 2012-10-01 19:14

In China they would shoot the photographer. No more problem. No more News. Let that be a warning to all with long lenses and no self respect. Then to finish off jail the publisher for 2 years for fun.

  • khethaselect - 2012-10-02 02:09

too bad when yr white queen get exposed u blame media but when media exposed other races u defend it.come on u act like u ar the only one who should rule this world but sorry u wont.

      Sean1877 - 2012-10-02 15:29

Firstly, she is a Dutchess not a queen. Secondly, when you can read at a fith grade level, go back and read the actual article and not just the comments. Thirdly, if you going to say it happens to your culture please give examples! and lastly, if the people YOU think will win have your IQ....I'll take my chances thank you...

  • caelykins.zanna - 2012-10-02 08:01

How can it be her fault if someone invades her privacy in this fashion. It is not like she went to the local beach and stripped down. Even a Queen gets naked from time to time but is is the sleezebag that invades that privacy with Hi-tech equipment that is to blame.

  • wayne.crowley2 - 2012-10-02 09:19

The photographer should be sued and jailed. It also alarms me as to the security of the couple as this time it was a camera but could have been a high powered rifle. Kate has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of and in my humble opinion has nothing to be ashamed of. Invasions of privacy like this need to be addressed in the most strictest manner The media will create another Diana and it’s obviously what they want.

  • brett.scheepers - 2012-10-02 09:26

Why does she have to apologize to William? I have just had a look at the photos and he has a huge smile on his face while putting sunblock on.Surely he should have stopped her if he knew he would get upset about it? If you want to go naked then you must expect to have your photo pop up on the internet when you are a public figure. No publicity is bad publicity!

  • patricia.hattingh.75 - 2012-10-02 10:02

Absolutely agree with you, they do not deserve what happened to them, give them their privacy and let them enjoy each other, they make such a gorgeous couple.....

  • adrian.hill.750 - 2012-10-02 10:08

Ag shame, now the entire world knows that she also has titties and an ass....who would have guessed!

  • customdesign - 2012-10-02 11:37

William must be a bit of a prick if she feels the need to apologise so much. the dude should just chill out.

  • cynthia.smith.71619533 - 2012-10-02 12:09

For heavens sake, she is the same as the rest of us, unless she has suddenly grown an extra boob! Leave the poor girl alone. She has enough to contend with having a Granny-in-Law like the Queen. Give her some peace.

  • Hallo - 2012-10-02 12:12

    Journos.. nuff said

  • peterjohnjnb - 2012-10-02 12:42

I could care less. She is, for all the pomp and ceremony but a cog in an ancient bloody institution that would do us all a favour if they simply ceased to exist. As for her personal invasion of privacy, the photographer should be sued - I feel for her on that front.

  • trevor.vermaak.3 - 2012-10-02 13:12

oh please, error is quite human and even royals are human....she can really stop apologising now, once is enough.

  • joyce.olivier.5 - 2012-10-02 14:16

She should not be begging William for forgiveness. She was with him at the time, and he must have enjoyed his lovely wife's sexy body. She is a stunning women and after Dianne the most beautiful. So be proud of your wife Prince William!!!!!!

  • venet.smit - 2012-10-02 16:17

This is a good example how newspapers makes a women cheap, that is not cheap. I have no British ties, but to bring such a women down tyo the level of whores is scandalous. the photographer is the one who is cheap and assosiates himself with the dregs of the world. The newspapers are the whore masters.

  • brian.ocinneide.7 - 2012-10-02 16:17

Idon't know hat she has to apologise for. She has nothing to show.

  • jm.johanreyneke - 2012-10-02 16:48

THIS IS SICK.... Give them some privacy... After all they are humans just like us.. Or maybe the media is trying to create another Diana scenario.

  • andre.esterhuysen.96 - 2012-10-02 17:27

I saw those pictures and I like Kate now more than ever, Why should she be so annoyed? It will make her more popular.Sexy Queen!

  • Jason - 2012-10-02 20:26

Kate shouldn't have to apologise but she should have been more careful given who she is and the obvious interest in anything saucy. I've said it before and I'll say it again: if she kept her antics to the bedroom, this wouldn't be happening. You don't have to agree, but it's an undeniable fact.

  • lionel.defrontignac - 2012-10-03 05:10

The paparazzi and the ghouls who buy this crap are the dregs of humanity.

  • cherry.tcmr - 2012-10-03 07:56

These are the things which sell newspapers and magazines. How many people will be jobless without a sneak of the royal's bottoms.

  • doreen.loubser.7 - 2012-10-03 07:56

why not just wear clothes, she should know there will always be paparazzi

  • teresa.strauss.39 - 2012-10-03 08:20

Diana suffered the same paparazzi madness, so it seems that William will never be free of the media chains.

  • Tafae - 2012-10-03 12:23

Any 1 take my picture please. These celebs and famous for nothing are very well aware they are under the prying eye of paparazzi, its no science then that if you drop em, them you get pictured. They asked for it.

  • claudia.lopes.395891 - 2012-10-03 16:47

Why should she apologise. She's done nothing wrong!

  • jimboyia - 2012-10-03 17:03

who cares? To misquote Behan, "the only bad publicity is an obituary"

  • Annelize.Gous - 2012-10-04 01:00

This is a bogus story from the tabloid newspapers. Take time to check your sources and give your readers credible information. Why would Kate need to apologise to William, for what?

  • sharon.hardy.7543 - 2012-10-04 11:14

Why can't the media leave them alone!!!! They are human beings too, with real feelings, needs, wants, etc. just like the rest of us. Let them have their privacy. I think these photographers should be charged for invasion of privacy.

  • rose.mcmillan - 2012-10-19 14:43

Kate stop apologising, it was not your fault that some low scum bag took your photo with telescopic lens, William knows that you did not expose yourself to get into the news. If he loves you he will just shrug it off. a lesson well learnt, keep smiling girl
