Los Angeles - Kim Kardashian may be minus a husband, but she's still got the ring, reports E! News.
The socialite filed for divorce on Monday after only 72 days of marriage to basketball star Kris Humphries.
E! News reports that a source close to the family has confirmed the $2m Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring was not loaned to the couple.
"They paid for it. It's theirs," the source told E! News.
It is also unlikely that Kim would return the ring as the source claimed it's not the norm.

"Traditionally, if you're engaged, and you break up, you give the ring back. But if you get married, the ring is yours to keep," said E!'s source.
It is not yet known what Kim plans to do with the ring, but on Monday she was spotted boarding a flight to Australia without the massive jewel.
The pair were married in a lavish ceremony on August 20 which reportedly cost them nothing.
Many of the suppliers and vendors involved in Kim and Kris Humphries' big day were believed to have either discounted their services or gave their products/services for free in return for the promotional exposure that goes with the Kardashian name.
