Los Angeles - Lindsay Lohan wants therapy but can't afford it.
The actress has reportedly agreed she has hit rock bottom and needs professional help, but claims she doesn't have the money to hire a psychiatrist as she is currently in debt.
"Lindsay is overwhelmed at the prospect of going back to jail and believes that a psychiatrist can help her through this trying time of her life. However, Lindsay has a huge problem, she can't afford to pay a good shrink because she literally has no money," a source told RadarOnline.
"Her health insurance would only pay about 20 percent of the mental health bills, and the docs that she wants to see charge $250 - $300 an hour."
Probation revoked
Lindsay recently had her probation revoked after it was claimed she lied to police over a car accident in June and prosecutors are hoping she will be sent to prison.
"Prosecutors are going after Lindsay with a vengeance because of her flagrant disregard for the law.
"The LA City Attorney's office will present evidence to Commissioner Jane Godfrey that Lindsay has a long storied history of lying to cops," a source within the Los Angeles Police Department told gossip website TMZ.
Prosecutors want the judge to sentence Lindsay to 245 days behind bars for her probation violation.
