Miss USA’s pageant costume confuses everyone while Miss SA shines

2013-11-08 09:41
Moscow – While everybody was trying to figure out what Miss USA Erin Brady was trying to express with her costume in the preliminary rounds of the Miss Universe pageant, Miss South Africa shone as a spectacular butterfly.

Critics were calling Brady’s Transformers inspired costume "very unglamorous" and a "travesty" with a fashion critic in the UK saying the outfit looked like it was "fashioned from some left over washing-up liquid bottles, yogurt pots, cardboard boxes and a lot of glitter, the pre-schoolers who made this must have had great fun," the News Observer reported.

However our very own Marilyn Ramos stole the spotlight in her tribal inspired butterfly outfit.
"So here it is. My Miss Universe 2013 National Costume. PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICAN I stand. Thank you again Werner as well as our gorgeous Melinda Bam for this amazing piece. Thrilled with how this evening went. All glory to my Lord Jesus Christ," Ramos wrote on her Facebook page.
