Naya Rivera set to release a memoir in 2016 #SorryNotSorry

Los Angeles - Naya Rivera is to release a memoir.

The Glee star has penned an autobiography titled Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes, and Growing Up.

Taking to Twitter to reveal the news, she said: "Can't wait until next spring! So many juicy stories about my life. Glee, guys, growing up & much more. #sorrynotsorry"

The 28-year-old actress is said to have included details about her previous engagement to Big Sean as well as an inside look at her wedding to Ryan Dorsey, with whom she is expecting her first child.

A source told E! News: "She's going to be very honest and real. She talks about growing up poor and all the trouble she had when she was younger.

"It's things that a lot of woman can relate to ... She talks about having to choose between her career and school and she shares all the crazy jobs she had before landing Glee."

Announcing the memoir, Publisher's Weekly said the book would follow Naya's "rag to riches" story.

The statement read: "A cast member of 1990s sitcoms such as Family Matters and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Rivera struggled for years after finding stardom as a child.

"Chronicling her path from riches to rags and back again - she was a Hooters waitress at one point, before landing the role of Santana Lopez on the Fox hit Glee - the book will be a warts-and-all account."

The memoir is expected to be released in early 2016.
