Nick Cannon to leave hospital soon

Los Angeles - Nick Cannon is "getting back to business".

The America's Got Talent host - who was transferred to a Los Angeles hospital after falling ill with "mild kidney failure" last Wednesday while holidaying in Aspen, Colorado with wife Mariah Carey and their eight-month-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, tweeted a picture of himself getting a haircut with the words "getting back to business".

Meanwhile, Mariah also took to Twitter to inform fans of Nick's condition and revealed he hopes to leave hospital within two days.

She wrote: "Thank you everyone for all the love & concern. Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he'll be discharged within 2 days. As always he's laughing and in good spirits (sic)."

The Fantasy hitmaker revealed Nick had been taken ill on her Twitter page last Wednesday and asked fans to pray for her "brave" spouse.

She tweeted: "Please pray for Nick as he's fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure. #mybraveman (sic)."
