Princess Beatrice lands finance job

London - Britain's Princess Beatrice has landed a job with a venture capital firm.

The 23-year-old royal - who is the daughter of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York - is now studying for her financial qualifications after landing the role with the unnamed London-based company following several work placement stints.

A source close to Beatrice - who graduated from London's Goldsmiths university with a 2:1 in history last September - said: '"She has been working really hard and she has been offered a job which she has accepted. Bea is already studying for her finance exams as a result.

"She really likes it and although the exams are tough, when you're really into something like that it becomes easier.

"I think she would like the idea of running her own business one day."

Meanwhile, her younger sister Princess Eugenie, 22, has applied for jobs with leading art auction houses Christie's and Bonhams after recently graduating with a 2:1 degree in history, English literature and politics at Newcastle University.

A source told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "Eugenie loves art and joining an auction house really appeals to her.

"She plans to apply to all the big houses in central London and she wants to make a successful career in international arts."
