Robin Williams' daughter returns to Twitter to thank fans

Los Angles - Robin Williams' daughter has thanked fans for their support following his death.

Zelda Williams - who briefly quit Twitter after receiving abusive messages following her father's suicide last month - has been touched to receive letters and stories from people who have experienced similar tragedies and finds it inspiring to hear how they have been able to move on from their losses.

She tweeted on Tuesday:

Zelda returned to social media at the beginning of September after a three-week break.

She announced she was quitting Twitter on 13 August after two users sent her Photoshopped pictures of her father, just days after he hung himself at his home.

Zelda's latest movement however, hits back at the media for publishing her every move, she tweeted on Wednesday: publishes all comments posted on articles provided that they adhere to our Comments Policy.
