Los Angeles - Simon Cowell has his favourite carrots flown into the UK for him from Singapore.
The 53-year-old music mogul loves the variety of vegetable so much he keeps a bowl of them in his Britain's Got Talent dressing room and gets the special variety delivered just for him to snack on.
Britain's Got Talent host Stephen Mulhern told The Sun newspaper: "It's like someone's been buffing [the carrots]. I was speaking to his friend about it and she said, 'Oh, Simon's had them flown in from Singapore.' She said they are the only carrots he likes."
Simon has previously shared his love for the orange vegetable by dishing it out as a snack during his time as judge on The X Factor.
'Very healthy, Simon'
A mentor on the show Tulisa Contostavlos said: "The first thing [Simon] laid out on the table was loads of vegetables and celery and carrots chopped up.
"I was like, 'This is very healthy, Simon,' so I spent the whole conversation nibbling on carrots out of nerves, I think."
While Simon, 53, may take his diet seriously, he has been described as a "big kid" when it comes to his love of toys and roller skating.
Britain's Got Talent co-hosts Ant and Dec revealed: "We know he is a fan of robots and cartoons. Just think of what a nine year old boy would like and that's kind of what he likes. Cars, robots and cartoons, oh and roller skating - he loves roller skating. He used to go to the roller boogie in Battersea [London] in the 1970s."
