Taylor Swift just keeps on winning as she takes the top spot on Maxim magazine's hot list

Los Angeles - Taylor Swift has topped the 2015 Maxim Hot 100 list.

The Bad Blood singer - who made her rumoured relationship with British DJ Calvin Harris public at the Billboard Music Awards on the weekend - has claimed the top spot on the magazine's "Hot List", which will be released in the upcoming June/July issue.

She said: "It's really nice and such an honour. This year has been my favourite year of my life so far. I got to make an album exactly the way I wanted to make it. I got to put it out exactly the way I dreamed of putting it out. Every one of these kinds of whims and ideas came to fruition ...

"It really feels like a wonderful celebration of my favourite year."

The announcement comes as Maxim reveals this year will mark a significant change in the long running list as instead of ranking the celebrated women, they will instead be organised into categories such as "Women Who Rock" and "Fashion Phenoms" based on their careers.

Taylor secured the top spot as "the world's most relevant and intriguing woman".

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old star also spoke to the magazine about her newfound appreciation for feminism.

The blonde beauty shared: "Honestly, I didn't have an accurate definition of feminism when I was younger. I didn't quite see all the ways that feminism is vital to growing up in the world we live in.

"I didn't see myself being held back until I was a woman ... Misogyny is ingrained in people from the time they are born. So to me, feminism is probably the most important movement that you could embrace, because it's just basically another word for equality."
