Taylor Swift's new kitten is so the cutest kitten we've ever seen! See the pics here!

Los Angeles - Taylor Swift has a new kitten.

The 24-year-old singer took to her Instagram account on Wednesday to introduce her fans to her new furry friend.

The blonde beauty posted an adorable picture of the white fluffy feline looking up at her with her big blue eyes, which she accompanied with the caption: "Meet Olivia Benson."

It is believed the 22 hitmaker named the kitten after her favourite Law & Order: Special Victims Unit character as she previously admitted she can spend hours watching the US crime series.

She once told Teen Vogue magazine: "I sit in my apartment and watch hours of that show. So I sort of feel like me and Olivia are BFFs [best friends forever]."

Meanwhile, this isn't the first time Taylor has given her pets monikers to represent her favourite TV show characters as she also named her grey tabby cat Meredith after Meredith Grey in the medical drama Grey's Anatomy.

She said in 2011: "Her name is Meredith - Meredith Grey because she's a grey cat, and because I love Grey's Anatomy. She's awesome. She's like one of those cats that give cats a good name. She doesn't hide under furniture and get weird around people. She's really friendly and fun and she's perfect for the road because she doesn't ever get freaked out."

However, Taylor's friend Ed Sheeran, 23, has different thoughts about Meredith.

He said previously: "Meredith doesn't like anyone. There's moments when she doesn't even like Taylor.
She's just a very ungrateful cat. She just expects it to come to her and if it doesn't then she'll just glare at you."
