Cape Town – YouTube has created a platform for people to share anything and everything they have made a video of.

Whether it’s a couple of seconds or minutes long, creating a personalised channel is the latest craze.

To keep up with this craze, local celebs have stopped at nothing to showcase their talents in cool and entertaining ways.

The chosen top 5 are part of Channel24's brand new local online celebrity awards that honour local musicians, celebrities and public figures who have a powerful and influential online presence.

There are 11 categories in total, with five nominees in each category.
