Tyler Perry struck silent with grief following the death of Bobbi Kristina

Los Angeles - Tyler Perry has been left with "no words" following the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown.

The writer-and-producer was a frequent visitor to the 22-year-old aspiring singer's bedside after she was hospitalised in January and has been left devastated by her death on Sunday.

He tweeted: "I'm a writer with no words.... Bobbi Kris (sic)"

Tyler - an old friend of Bobbi's late mother Whitney Houston - is said to be helping arrange the funeral for the young starlet, including arranging to have her body transported from Georgia to New Jersey, where she will be laid to rest alongside the I Will Always Love You singer.

And the 45-year-old producer is also "intent on keeping the peace" between the Houston and Brown families, as they don't always get along.

Shortly before Bobbi Kristina's death Tyler took to Facebook to ask for respect towards the Brown and Houston family in the difficult time, expressing his feelings toward the sad situation.

Speaking of his bond with the family, friend Oprah Winfrey previously said: "Tyler has been really close to the family.

"Tyler was really supportive of Whitney when she had her troubles - he intervened and tried to help her - and I know that he's been instrumental in trying to help Bobbi Kristina, too."

Bobbi's funeral will reportedly take place on Saturday at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia before she is buried at Fairview Cemetery in New Jersey next Monday.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner released the starlet's remains at approximately noon on Tuesday, after completing an autopsy to determine an official cause of death.

A source said that family members, including Bobbi Kristina's devastated father Bobby Brown, were originally hoping to hold the funeral on Thursday, but pushed it back to enable all of her loved ones to attend.
