Victoria Beckham was asked to design Kim Kardashian's wedding dress but declined the request!

Los Angeles - Victoria Beckham rejected a request to design Kim Kardashian's wedding dress.

The 40-year-old fashion designer was reportedly approached earlier this year about creating a gown for the reality TV star's impending nuptials to Kanye West, but asked her team to inform the brunette beauty she was too busy, though insiders say she refused as she was concerned about "devaluing" her brand.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Kim was desperate to wear a VB dress for her big day but Victoria deals with the very A-list of the showbiz world, including royals, and doesn't want to be dragged into the world of reality stars.

"She also doesn't really do wedding dresses."

It has been claimed that Kim and Kanye - who have 10-month-old daughter North together - are set to marry in a secret ceremony in the coming days, and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was seen boarding a flight to France earlier this week.

The couple were rumoured to be having a lavish wedding extravaganza in Paris in front of all their family, friends and celebrity acquaintances, but it has been claimed they are going to break with expectations by holding a highly secretive ceremony this week.

Kim, 33, and Kanye, 36 are so intent on keeping their nuptials private that they have secured a "confidential" marriage license so no one officially knows.

However, the lovebirds want to make up for their minimalist big day with an extravagant bash in the days following the event.
