Los Angeles - Kris Humphries is furious with Kim Kardashian West.
The basketball player believes his ex-wife was responsible for comments made by her step-parent Caitlyn Jenner, in which she branded him an "idiot".
A source said: "Kris thinks Kim was behind this latest reality show stunt. And that she encouraged Caitlyn to bring it up for the show.
"It's just disgusting for him, because anyone that knows Kris will tell you he is the most accepting person, and has been a supporter of the LGBT community for a very long time.
"The name-calling is a bit over the top. If Kris had called Caitlyn an idiot, it would have been deemed transphobic. You don't hear anyone calling Caitlyn out for the name-calling, and that is a double standard."
And the insider has claimed Kris feels "sad" for Caitlyn as she was unable to live true to herself.
They added to RadarOnline.com: "He felt sad for Caitlyn after watching the 20/20 interview because she had to live her life as a man for so many years, even though Kris Jenner was fully aware of the internal struggle her spouse was dealing with ...
