We cornered Just Jinjer for a few questions about the Jameson Vic Falls Carnival

Cape Town - The time has finally arrived for the annual Jameson Vic Falls Carnival, taking place at the majestic Victoria Falls.

We managed to corner Just Jinjer in order to ask them a few quick questions about the awesome music festival.

1)      What’s the best road trip song that has you singing out loud every time?

AC/DC Back in Black

2)      Have you ever had an awkward encounter with a fan while taking a pit stop during a road trip?

It’s seldom more awkward than shy. Gushing fan fumbling on a camera taking a picture and posing with the band for a few minutes before realizing the camera isn’t switched on.

3)      The best thing about the Jameson Vic Falls Carnival is…

That we’ve never done it before and get to be there this year! We have only heard awesome things so we’re stoked to finally be able to experience the glory firsthand.

4)      If you can go on a road trip with one celebrity (dead or alive/local or international) who would it be?

Ricky Gervais. We all mimic him all the time anyway so we may as well have the real deal join us along the way. We reckon Bob Dylan could tell a few awesome stories too.

5)      What’s your favourite holiday destination on earth?

Mozambique or anywhere on the East Coast of Africa. Anywhere that’s naturally beautiful and hasn’t been commercialised.

6)      Do you have any New Year resolutions for 2014?

More music, more coffee, more smiles and maybe a little less drinking? We are all trying to get healthy and fit.

7)      What’s your best green (conservation, preservation of the environment) tip?

Be as conscious as possible about what packaging you take along out of stores. If you can carry it all, don’t by a plastic bag which just gets chucked away when you are done and lands on a rubbish dump somewhere. Only support places that serve in compostable cups, etc. Being conscious in general is the most important of all.
